William (Bill) J. Hunter, Partner, focuses exclusively in the areas of trial work and litigation. Over the past several years, he has successfully represented plaintiffs who were severely injured or killed in cases against product manufacturers, medical device manufacturers, trucking companies and large industrial or construction companies. Many of these cases involved explosions or other complicated mechanisms of injury, including the catastrophic failure of equipment. Mr. Hunter also regularly defends physicians in Savannah and across South Georgia who are sued for medical malpractice. In addition to cases involving injuries, Mr. Hunter does trial work related to serious business disputes, including business litigation claims related to the misappropriation of trade secrets, breach of fiduciary duties, and other complex business subjects.  Mr. Hunter maintains the highest, preeminent AV® rating for legal ability and ethics from Martindale Hubbell, the most respected legal rating agency in the country, including an AV® rating in the publication’s Judicial Edition which is a special rating that recognizes attorneys who receive the highest possible rating in both legal ability and ethical standards, based on evaluations from judges.
